The Featured Animal of the Week is a new element of our site.  We’ll be featuring two animals each week (one male and one female) leading up to our Open House & Sale on April 13, 2013.  This is our first in the series and what better way to kick it off than to feature our special Give Away Heifer. To celebrate 30 years in the business one lucky buyer will take home this special prize.  All you have to do to enter is purchase at least one animal during the sale (you do not need to be present to win).  Each successful bidder will have their name entered for a chance in the drawing.  For more information please see our January Newsletter.

KT Mac a Grand Addition

Bohaty’s Purchase Grand Champion Bull

KT Mac 1203

KT Mac 1203 was the ABWPA Grand Champion Bull at the 2012 World Beef Expo. He was purchased during the 2012 World Beef Expo from Kenan Todd of Thistledown Farms of Columbus Junction, IA.  His sire is Nimmer’s Mac and his dam is LPJ Snow Queen S636.  We plan to use this exceptional bull on our breeding heifers in 2013.  His pedigree is a complete outcross from our own breeding.  We are anticipating some great calves in 2014.
